A “Mitten Tree” Grows in CCM Amityville
A "Mitten Tree" Grows at CCM-Amityville - The Sisters of Mercy and the Sisters of St. Dominic, many of whom are members of CCM in Amityville, knit or bought hats, mittens and scarves, which they recently donated to Bethany House in Roosevelt, a shelter for homeless women and children. The Sisters collected the items for donation on a "Mitten Tree" (pictured above).
