What is the CenterLight TeamCare OTC Enhanced Benefit?

Our Over-The-Counter (OTC) Enhanced Benefit provides TeamCare participants with $150 each quarter to spend on a wide range of non-prescription health-related items, such as sun protection, dental products, skin care, etc. This Enhanced Benefit will afford you the ability to purchase the OTC items and other miscellaneous products you need to stay healthy. As part of this benefit, you will receive an OTC card through Centerlight’s partnership with In-Comm. You can use this card to shop for products at local merchants throughout the year at your convenience. This card will monitor your activity and provide us with feedback related to your purchases.
Using your OTC Enhanced Benefit is easy
Choose the items you would like to purchase by reviewing what is available as seen in the catalog (listed below). You can then take your OTC card to your local merchant and purchase these items directly. You may ask your Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) for assistance at any time.

How does the OTC Enhanced Benefit work?

You will be able to shop directly from a local store near where you live throughout the year.
Where can I get another catalog?
Contact Member Services at 1-833-CL-CARES (1-833-252-2737), Monday-Friday, 8AM-8PM to order another catalog or visit your CenterLight TeamCare center to pick one up. TTY users should call 711.
Where can I use my OTC card?
You will only be able to use the OTC card to directly purchase at the merchant of your choice.
What if I lose my OTC card?
Contact Member Services at 1-833-CL-CARES (1-833-252-2737), TTY 711, Monday-Friday, 8AM-8PM to order a new card. It could take up to 5 business days to receive a new card.
What happens if I do not have enough money in my OTC account when I am making a purchase?
You are only permitted to order/purchase items within your benefit limit. If you do not have enough money in your OTC account, you need to wait until the next quarter to purchase your items. Note that purchases from the stores all apply toward your $150 quarterly limit.
What happens if I do not use my full balance each month?
As a PACE member, you will have $150 in your OTC account each quarter. You will lose any unused balance in your account after the end of that quarter. This means you have three months to use your entire $150 dollar benefit.
How many times a month can I purchase products?
You can purchase supplies as many times as you need throughout the quarter, as long as you have not reached or exceeded your benefit limit.

Important Points to Remember:
The OTC Enhanced Benefit is for the personal use of CenterLight TeamCare members only. It may not be used to purchase items for family members, friends, etc.
The OTC Enhanced Benefit can only be used to purchase eligible OTC health-related items indicated in the catalog through your local merchant.
The OTC Enhanced Benefit cannot be converted to cash.
PRIOR AUTHORIZATION ITEMS:
Note that items with medicinal content (for example, pain patches), are not available through this benefit. Any medicinal item you require will be approved by your Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) to ensure that there are no known interactions with your current prescriptions. These products will be provided through your PACE insurance directly through your pharmaceutical vendor.
