A 90th Birthday Celebration

CenterLight Healthcare Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) Westchester recently had the privilege of celebrating the 90th birthday of one of our PACE participants.

In honor of Ms. Ganel Gibbs's birthday, participants and staff celebrated with singing, dancing, a delicious cake, and lots of laughs.

Celebrating the birthdays of our participants is important to us. We are privileged to meet and care for our participants—whose unique perspectives and personalities are a joy to learn from. We strive to ensure they know how much we appreciate them, and birthday celebrations are just one of the small ways we show that they are valued.

CenterLight’s Therapeutic Recreation Team works to provide fun and educational programs to our participants. More than 100 activities are offered at each of our Centers per month, including arts and crafts, knitting, crocheting, cooking classes, music, field trips, bingo, and cultural events/celebrations.

In addition, we encourage our participants to stay up to date with our Facebook page to view more fun educational and recreational activities they can do to stay healthy and active.
