Donna Cohen, Social Worker at CenterLight, comes back on our Facebook Live series to discuss Chocolate Meditation. In these extraordinarily stressful times, we can all use relaxation. This method will teach viewers how to choose what type of chocolate, how to savor each moment and other tips on how to use this delicious treat in meditation.

You may also choose to substitute chocolate with any food that gives you joy. If you are diabetic, fruits or raisins will be just as delicious and will work with this method.

Overcoming Challenges Faced by Caregivers During a Pandemic & Isolation

Join us on Tuesday, May 12 at 3pm ET to hear Alzheimer’s Advocate, Radio Host and Renowned Speaker Dan Gasby discuss the heightened challenges faced by caregivers during a time of pandemic and isolation. As co-founder of B. Smith Enterprises Dan served as the primary caregiver to his recently deceased wife, the nationally known lifestyle maven, model, author, and TV personality Barbara “B.” Smith.

During this talk, presented by the Friends of CenterLight Foundation, he’ll share personal anecdotes and insights about his life caring for B., who battled Alzheimer’s disease for nearly a decade. Dan will also talk about how he is working through loneliness and grief in the wake of B’s passing, as well as share tips and lessons learned.

Dan is happy to answer any questions you may have. You can post your questions in the comments live during his talk.
