Join us in Welcoming Our New Chief Medical Officer! 

We are delighted to introduce Dr. Ziad Farah, MD, MBA, as CenterLight PACE’s new Chief Medical Officer (CMO). 

As CMO, Dr. Farah’s main goal is to ensure high quality delivery of care and services to our participants. He is responsible for oversight of our Medical, Behavioral, and Clinical Services; as well as our relationships with you, our valued providers. He, along with our Care Delivery and Provider Relations teams, will work with you to provide our participants with the services they need to stay healthy and continue living in their own homes and communities. 

Dr. Farah comes to us with a breadth of experience in maximizing physician performance, population health, and managed care. His areas of expertise include geriatric medicine, strategic planning, physician alignment, palliative care, patient experience and process improvement, utilization review, clinical programs development, and patient care and safety.  

Prior to his new role at CenterLight PACE, Dr. Farah served as Market Medical Director at City Block Health in New York City, CMO of Lawrence General Hospital, Associate CMO of Perfect Health Inc., and attending physician at Tufts Medical Center in Boston, MA.

Sign Up for Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT)

CenterLight Healthcare PACE will be transitioning away from paper checks to faster, easier, and more secure electronic payments. We strongly encourage all of our providers to complete and submit the EFT Form to begin receiving direct deposits as soon as possible.

Benefits of enrolling in EFT:

  • Funds are deposited directly into your bank account

  • Reduces fraudulent payments and administrative burden

  • Faster access to claim payments

Electronic Remittance Advice (ERA)

CenterLight Healthcare providers can access their Electronic Remittance Advice (ERA) through Change Healthcare. ERA offers many benefits, including expediting payment reconciliation and reduced posting errors. You may register for ERA by visiting the Change Healthcare Website.

Credentialing Updates

We are pleased to announce that we have partnered with CAQH Verified for credentialing individual network providers such as physicians, nurse practitioners, and podiatrists. CAQH is certified as a Credentials Verification Organization (CVO) through the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA). Providers must make sure that their CAQH profiles and attestations are current. If a provider does not have a ProView account with CAQH, they may register for one by visiting the CAQH website. Maintaining an account with CAQH is easy and free of charge. Through our partnership with CAQH, providers will experience faster turnaround times for credentialing and onboarding. Visit Summaries

As a PACE program, CenterLight Healthcare is required to coordinate care for our participants. To do this effectively, we need all visit summaries submitted to us in a timely manner. Send your visit summaries within 5 days of the appointment via fax to 929-233-7888 or email to VisitDocumentation@centerlight.org.

You may download our Prior Authorization Request Form from our website. Completed forms must be sent via fax to 718-873-2890 or email to ClinicalReview@centerlight.org.

New Dental and pharmacy Providers

Effective January 1, 2023,CenterLight Healthcare PACE started providing dental services through DentaQuest, replacing Healthplex. Dentists who are not in the DentaQuest network and would like to join may call 1-888-308-2508 or visit DentaQuest's website by clicking here.

We have also changed our Pharmacy Benefit Manager (PBM). On January 1, 2023, we started working with MedImpact to manage our participants’ pharmacy benefits. This means that participants must use a pharmacy that is part of the MedImpact network. Pharmacies who would like to join the MedImpact network may submit a request online by clicking here. New ID cards that include information needed to fill prescriptions have been sent to all CenterLight PACE participants.

Collaborating with CenterLight Through HHAeXchange

We are excited to announce that we had our final phase go live with HHAeXchange on January 16, 2023.

As part of this partnership, HHAeXchange and CenterLight are working together to improve provider communications, streamline authorization management, and increase payment integrity.

Reminders

  • Participants who leave CenterLight PACE’s service area for more than 30 days will run the risk of disenrollment and lose services. If your patient is disenrolled due to this reason and they want to continue receiving services from CenterLight PACE, they will have to start the enrollment process over. Please advise your patients to inform the CenterLight PACE Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) if they are planning to go on vacation or leave the area for any reason.

  • Is your patient turning 65 and/or aging into Medicare? Our Interdisciplinary Team is available to assist CenterLight PACE participants who need help signing up for Medicare. CenterLight PACE participants have access to all the services they need,* including Medicare Part B and Part D. They do not need to take any action if they want to continue receiving services from CenterLight PACE. We will let Medicare know that they are enrolled with us.

*As determined by the IDT.
